Description

I said at my first stamp: Element of Generosity -supportive stamp by Fluttershy626  that I won't do any more stamps in the future and while it still applies, I will make them ONLY in special cases and this is one of them, since I couldn't find a stamp that says that.
PS: I won't do Stamp requests and commissions neither.

Now to this stamp. Yup, that's truth. I know most of you are villain lovers and villains are generaly more popular than heroes or reformed characters. But I don't like them for a simple reason... I hate evil. There are only bad and careless people in my private life and I'm literally ignored by everyone, so I'm really allergic to see bad people / characters anywhere. I know they make stories more thrilling, but that's simply not my case, I don't miss them. I see them the same way as real people, not only as fictional characters. I really don't see evil interesting and something for my taste. These characters only disgust me. The exception is, when the character actually has their logic reason for their doings and doesn't do that only from their selfishness and hunger for power, but there's something deeper in emotional way (ex. they have been humiliated, bullied, something happened to their family or relatives, nobody likes them, they have some trauma from something terrible that happened to them, they were taught to be bad, etc,). And they have redemption traits. But I can't find that many huge villains with this case. Most of them are only evil for the sake of them being evil -being selfish and power hungry wanting to rule the world and destroy or enslave everyone in their way with no known reason -they were either born this way or were just spoiled (this was even the case of Sunset Shimmer, why I wish her story was deeper explained since she wasn't born evil... :hmm: "The Fall of Sunset Shimmer" hasn't done it). I simply dislike these villain types, if they don't reform.

To the second part of the stamp... Some of you might know that about me, but I really found a soft spot for reformed characters (of course, my love for Sunset Shimmer started it :D). But really, I never paid attention to reformed characters and found them THAT likeable before I fell in love with Sunset and realized, how interesting these characters are and how they feel about what they're coming through and what they did. Of course not ALL reformed characters feel the same way about their redemption (if they're reformed forcibly and don't really want to change for themselves, but that's honestly the only case when I don't find their reform necessarily important, NOR interesting). But I'm honestly tired of seeing so much hate for these characters by calling them bland, ruined and boring. Especially when it comes to MLP redemption stories. I actually find MLP reformed characters the most interesting and easiest to sympathize with (probably because the show is about the magic of friendship itself).
There are so many reasons for my love to these characters. When it comes to these truly reformed ones, redemption is not something that takes a few days or weeks. It also might take a whole life for someone. Even if they're forgiven. Live with a feeling what a "monsters" we used to be and how we've hurt the innocent ones only makes our lives more terriffying and miserable. And they'll have the remorse in their memory for the rest of life, even if they try to hide it. Plus it's impossible that everyone will forgive them, there always will be someone who will hate them no matter how much theye've changed.
That's something that makes them really sympathetic to me and I can't help but feel very bad for them and love them.

So that's probably all I wanted to say.

If you agree, feel free to put this stamp on your profile. :)

I like reformed villains with a good backstory and a very good motivation
